Regional Projects
Regional projects are built on a simple yet powerful economic principle: if you want to succeed, you must strengthen your neighbour. No country can achieve long-term prosperity if purchasing power in its immediate surroundings is weak and economic connections are underdeveloped. This is why our regional projects focus on cross-border cooperation with neighbouring states, creating joint initiatives that enhance trade, investment, mobility and overall regional stability.

In this context, Bosnia and Herzegovina holds a particularly important place. A large number of Croats live in that country, and many of them wish to participate in economic development, invest in local communities or eventually return to their homeland. Strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina is not only a regional objective but also a strategic national interest for Croatia. A stable and economically strong BiH is a natural partner for Croatia in development, exports and job creation, and it represents a key area for reconnecting the Croatian diaspora.

Regional projects support market integration, the creation of cross-border business zones, the attraction of investments and the development of partnerships between Croatian counties and neighbouring regions. The aim is to build a cooperative network in which economic benefits flow both ways, giving returnees new opportunities for investment and enabling the entire region to grow together.

Through these initiatives we create an environment in which Croatian economic potential can expand beyond the country’s borders, while the diaspora strengthens its ties both with Croatia and with the wider regional market. This is the path toward a stable and prosperous regional landscape that supports return, development and long-term economic security.
