Together we are creating a new strength for Croatia
 
The association Marshall Plan Croatia – Future with the Diaspora was founded on the belief that Croatia holds far greater potential than what is visible today. Our community brings together people from the homeland and the diaspora who believe in the power of knowledge, experience and return. We connect experts, entrepreneurs, returnees and families who aspire to a more stable, secure and sustainable Croatia. Together, we are building a network that opens new opportunities and strengthens Croatia’s long-term development.
We see opportunity in the synergy between domestic initiatives and the global experience of Croatian emigrants, because that connection can drive demographic renewal, economic growth and a new development of rural regions. Our role is to build trust, create bridges and turn good ideas into concrete solutions. We believe that the future changes only when a community unites around a clear and shared goal. This is why we work with focus, responsibility and the conviction that Croatia can become a country people return to, not a country they leave. Our strength comes from people who believe that real change begins when each of us takes our share of responsibility and makes that first small step forward.

We are driven by faith in return and unity

We are motivated by the belief that the Croatian people, no matter where they live, belong to one community that shares the same roots and the same values. For many years this community was scattered and often left to fend for itself, yet we believe this can and must change.
 
We see tremendous strength in every Croatian who has built a career abroad, in every returnee who wishes to contribute, and in every family that still believes Croatia can be a safe and dignified home.
 
We draw inspiration from Israel and Ireland, nations that successfully united their diasporas and launched a national renewal. Our motivation is to restore hope, rebuild trust and show that real change begins only when we unite and act as one.

Our mission is to rebuild the connection between the homeland and its diaspora and to turn that unity into a powerful driver of Croatia’s demographic, economic and rural development. We are creating an encouraging environment where experts, investors, returnees and families can connect, collaborate and build new beginnings.
 
We want a Croatia where people choose to stay because they can live with dignity, and a Croatia to which people gladly return because it offers security, perspective and trust. That is why we act concretely, responsibly and with a clear long-term vision, placing people, unity and sustainable development at the center of every step we take.

It is a mindset and a commitment. We aim to build models that endure beyond daily politics and short-term interests, models that bring real and lasting change to local communities. We connect domestic production, ecological agriculture, rural infrastructure and the global experience of the Croatian diaspora, because we believe true progress happens only when these elements are brought together. In this way, we create an environment where local regions can grow, and young families gain stable conditions for life, work and return. Our strategy rests on three strong pillars.

They are returnees who have brought home rich global experience, professors who have shaped knowledge for decades, volunteers who give their time selflessly and business leaders who understand how sustainable economies grow. The strength of our team lies in its diversity, but also in its shared vision.

We work in harmony, with responsibility and deep conviction that only unity can spark the changes that reshape lives, families and the direction of the country.
