Western Herzegovina is the jewel of this country, located near the border with Croatia. It is naturally endowed with many resources that have not yet been sufficiently exploited. It is an area where it is possible to produce top quality wines, and rich forests and fertile land are promising for the development of forestry and agriculture. In recent years, the metal industry has established itself as one of the pillars of this part of Herzegovina, along with the paper and graphic industry. But the greatest strength and potential of Western Herzegovina lies in tourism - religious, winter, summer, rural, ethno tourism. This part of Herzegovina is truly an uncut diamond that makes you think you are in another world; a world inhabited by gentle fairies and brigands that hide in the steep mountains.
